PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Welcome back to another wonderful school year! I don’t know about you but the sight of reduced priced school supplies send me into an excited tizzy (and buying frenzy) and that morning bell on the first day of school sends a tingle of anticipation down my spine. Anticipation for a great year, for students ready to learn, for new lessons, new teams, and new adventures!

This Back to School edition of the UMLA Newsletter is full of ideas and articles to help you jump start your year! And don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Utah Middle Level Conference on March 9!  We are so excited to have David Sanders coming to edify us!

As we begin this new school year, take a moment to reflect why you teach and the potential that both you and each one of your students possess.
